Lumina Builders is a general construction company incorporated in 1996 by Jackie and Ben Hooks. Ben has been in construction related careers for most of his life having been a partner in a construction company in Banner Elk, NC for years before relocating to Wilmington. He then worked for a local firm before starting Lumina Builders. Jackie held various engineering jobs with AT&T for 28 years before leaving to join the ranks of Lumina Builders full time. Together this husband and wife partner to provide you a team dedicated to personal service and satisfied customers. Their primary objective is to provide a quality product on time every time and within budget so that the customer has a good experience throughout the project.
Lumina Builders specializes in commercial upfits and renovations along with construction and renovation of parks and is proud to be a Women Business Enterprise certified by the State of North Carolina.
